Spring Break at Kabóca Puppet Theater – featuring family activities and arts-and-crafts workshops

We look forward to welcoming families to Kabóca Puppet Theater with a colorful lineup of events during spring break! From April 19 to 28, we’ll be presenting four matinee performances for children and one evening guest performance for adults. After each performance, children can participate in a craft workshop where they can process their experiences and create their own artwork.

The series of events kicks off on Saturday, April 19, with a special Easter Matinée: László the Warrior Finds a home. After our performance, the fun doesn’t end, as we’re inviting kids and their parents to a community egg-painting event at Derce Bakery. This day will be filled with a truly festive atmosphere—don’t miss it! On Tuesday, April 22, an old favorite, Meow and Woof, returns to us, followed on Thursday, April 24, by an interactive musical performance for the little ones: Tune In will enchant the audience. To close the week, on Saturday, April 26, we welcome slightly older kids to Sebastian Killdragon, a story that depicts a heroes’ world through adventure, courage, and plenty of humor. The spring program series also caters to our adult audience: on Monday evening, April 28, Mesebolt Puppet Theater will present its guest performance, I, Vampire, a performance for ages 14 and up, starting at 7:00 p.m. This darker, more philosophical production offers a unique puppet theater experience for both teenagers and adults. Kabóca Puppet Theater offers a series of spring break programs that provide true relaxation and enjoyment for the whole family during the break. Let’s meet at Kabóca, 13 Deák Ferenc Street!
