RAY COONEY: OUT OF ORDER
play
Bánfalvy Studio 2024

Translated by: Tamás Ungvári

Richard Willey, a successful young government minister, is preparing for a romantic rendezvous with the secretary of the opposition faction (Jane) in a posh hotel. However, the evening does not get off to the best start, as upon entering the room, they immediately find a "corpse" in the window. Richard finally calls his parliamentary secretary, George Pidgen, so now there are three of them trying to resolve this unusual situation. It is not an easy task, as the hotel manager and head waiter always interrupt them at the worst possible moment, while Richard's wife, George's mother's nurse, and her young lover's jealous husband only complicate the already awkward situation. What's more, the night still has surprises in store!
