Introduction

Batthyány Heritage Center and Theater Hall is one of the most prominent venues in Körmend's cultural life, located in the vicinity of historic Batthyány Palace, at 5 Dr. Batthyány-Strattmann László Street. The building functions as a multifunctional cultural space: it hosts theater performances, concerts, exhibitions, conferences, community events, and festive occasions. Batthyány Theater underwent a complete renovation in 2016: the auditorium, the stage, and the technical equipment were renewed, so that today the venue welcomes visitors in a modern setting. The theater hall can accommodate 348 people and is equipped with modern technical equipment, dressing rooms, and service areas.

The gallery of the Heritage Center is a popular venue for smaller exhibitions, discussions, and workshops. The auditorium is also ideal for receptions, standing receptions, and lectures. The center's goal is to preserve the Batthyány family heritage in a dignified manner and to play an active role in the cultural and community life of Körmend.
