Magyarock Song Theater presents Róbert Szikora's MACSKAFOGÓ (Cat City) – a musical based on the hugely successful cartoon by Béla Ternovszky and József Nepp. Description: Cat City, directed by Béla Ternovszky, is a true cult film, one of the most successful Hungarian cartoons of all time, which has been revived in musical form by Róbert Szikora.
Enchanting songs spiced with lighthearted humor are presented in an action-packed story featuring the adventures of cult characters (Mr. Teufel, Safranek, Lazy Dick) and their new partners. The 1986 animated film has lost none of its popularity. The gang war between cats and mice is bringing the mice to the brink of total collapse, but Grabowski, the disgraced secret agent mouse, sets off for Pokio to save the mouse society and rescue the president's kidnapped daughter. The leader of the cat syndicate sends a rat commando to pursue him, during which cat-mouse friendships, great loves, and endless adventures accompany our heroes.
